Obituary for Theresa L. Rummell (Fluharty)

Theresa L. Fluharty-Rummell, age 40 of Smithville, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland following a long and courageous journey with Leukemia. She was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 1, 1979 in Canton, Ohio to Warren Frederick and Cordia M. (Davis) Fluharty. She has been a Wayne County resident for most of her life.

She married K. Chad Rummell on August 29, 1998 in Wooster. He survives.

She had worked as a Bank Teller Supervisor for the last 10 years and was a member of Wooster Apostolic Pentecostal Church. She also enjoyed Thrift store shopping, antiquing and scrap booking. She mostly loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her daughters, Savanna M. Rummell of Wooster and Keerston G. Rummell of Smithville; a brother, Tim m. (Miho) Fluharty of Prince Frederick, of Maryland; a sister, Lisa (Craig) Plumley of Orrville; her grandmother, Eloise Fluharty of Zanesville; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jimmy & Frieda Davis and Fred Fluharty.

Services will be Sunday, 2:00 p.m. at Wooster Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Wooster with Pastor Ben Robinson officiating followed by burial at Smithville Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3 hours prior (11:00 - 2:00 p.m.) at the church.
