Rodney Wilber Boreman, age 62, of Wooster and formerly of Shreve, passed away, Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Avenue at Wooster following a period of declining health.

Rodney was born on July 25, 1957 in Wooster to Wayne Eldon and Faye (Gordon) Boreman and has been an area resident for all of his life.

Rodney started working on his family farm and then with other local farms throughout the area. He also worked for Kauffman Tire, Halliburton, Universal Well Services and Bell & Howell companies.

He loved to garden; enjoyed fishing and kayaking and loved spending time in the outdoors.

He is survived by his children, Christina, Anthony and Charity and his 6 grandchildren; brothers, Rick and Rand and sisters, Linda and Lou Ann; special friends, Anne and Brad Foster and his many other friends throughout the area.

A Visitation Celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., in Wooster.

It was his previous wishes not to have a service.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
