Obituary for Martha "Tootsie" Clements (Johnson)

Martha "Tootsie"  Clements (Johnson)
Martha "Tootsie" Clements, age 80, of Wooster, entered into rest, Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Summa Barberton Hospital after a period of declining health.

She was born in Hazard, Ky. on September 3, 1937 to William Harvey McKinley and Molly (Combs) Johnson.

Martha was proud of the fact that she was known as one of the best restaurant managers in El Paso, Tx. She was a creative and talented person. Her talents included anything from doll making to crocheting, which she loved very much. Must of all she had a love for people. She never met a stranger. She was always ready and willing to help anyone that was in need or just simple make them feel special and put a smile on their face.

She is survived by her sons, Virgil S. Allen of Bellville, Oh. and Walter Glenn (Nancy J.) Allen of Mansfield, Oh.; a granddaughter, Ericka L. (Greg) Barr of Wooster and a great-grandson, Walker Allen Barr; brothers, Britt Johnson and Kelly (Linda) Chapman all of Butler, Oh.; a sister, Marie Jackson, of Mason, Oh.; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who also loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marden "Luke" Clements; a son, Bobby K. Allen; sisters, Bessie Walker, Gladys Deel, Connie Hill and a brother, Herman "Tommy" Johnson.

There will be no services or visitation.

It was her wishes there be a private interment that will take place at the convenience of the family.
