Louis C. "Louie" Nevada, age 86, of Apple Creek, passed away, Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Westview Healthy Living in Wooster.

He was born on June 26, 1932 in Los Angeles, CA. to Samuel C. and Carmelita (Ramirez) Nevada and has been an Apple Creek resident for the last 2 years.

Louie served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1951 - 1955.

He worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District for 21 years as a Plant Manager before retiring in 1994.

He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Brad) Nevada-Sloan and Susan (Ramie) West all of Apple Creek and Desiree Nevada of Upland, CA.; 5 grandchildren, Albert, Carissa, Robert, Jacob and Gabriel; a sister, Linda Nevada of Los Angeles, CA. and 5 nieces and nephews, Linda, Cindy, Greg, Audrey and Richard.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Claudine.

It was his previous wishes to have a private interment at the convenience of the family.
