Kevin C. Smail, age 54, of Wooster, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster following an extended illness.

He was born on October 5, 1964 in Wooster to Earl and Anita (Low) Smail and has been a resident of the area for all of his life.

He had previously worked for Midwest Health Services. In the past he also enjoyed playing guitar on stage with numerous bands and mostly loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving and supportive girlfriend, Miranda Hofacker of Orrville; sons, Jordon (Susan) Smail and Brandon Smail all of Millfield, Ohio; grandson,Dustin Piper of Wooster; brothers, Allan Smail of Shreve and Adam Smail of Millersburg; and his beloved canine companion, "Ruby".

His parents preceded him in death.

It was his previous wishes there be no public services.

A private interment will take place at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
