Obituary for Glenn A. Wolboldt

Glenn A. Wolboldt, age 87, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, June 17, 2019 at Danbury Woods Senior Living in Wooster following a period of declining health.

He was born on December 31, 1931 in Holmesville, OH. to Robert A. and Grace (Parrot) Wolboldt and had moved to the Wooster area in 1963.

He married Fern E. Maxwell on September 6, 1952 in Benton, OH. She survives.

Glenn had worked as a Brick Mason before retiring after 35 years of service.

He was a long-time member of Mohican Church of The Brethren in West Salem; throughout the years he enjoyed restoring his Model A Ford and was an avid wood carver; he was an active member of The Mohican Model A Ford Club and he and his wife loved to travel.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by a son, Theodore "Ted" (Lanell) Wolboldt of Longview, TX.; daughters, Jane (D. Allen) Hendricks of Bellbrook, OH., Julie (Frank) Zinn of Delaware, OH. and Sue (Kirk) Carpenter of Milford, N.J.; grandchildren, Bryan Hendricks, Michelle (Matthew) Crawford, Anne Carpenter, Kate (Luke) LaBar, Taylor (Corey) Ziegler, Daniel Wolboldt and Nina (Henry) Hunter; great-grandchildren, Connor Hendricks, Zachary Crawford, Alyssa Crawford, Dawson and Dillon Shelton and Hank and Jack Hunter and Oliver Wolboldt.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Daniel E. Wolboldt.

Services will be Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., in Wooster with Pastor Paul Bartholomew officiating followed by interment at Prairie Twp. Cemetery in Holmesville.

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 6 - 8 p.m.
