Obituary for Charles C. "Chuck" Deeter

Charles C. "Chuck" Deeter, age 48, of Orrville, entered into rest, Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Wooster following an unexpected illness.

He was born on March 18, 1971 in Orrville and has been a resident of Orrville for most of his life.

He had served in the U.S. Navy from July 19, 1990 - February 13, 1998.

He married Brenda K. Settle on May 21, 1993 in Newport News, VA. She survives.

He had been a truck driver for all of his life and most recently had been working for Berner Trucking Inc. in Dover for the last 7 years.

Chuck enjoyed hunting and fishing and was known to be a home garage mechanic. He mostly loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his father and mother, Denver "Dink" Cheryl L. (Horst) McCumbers of Orrville; sons, Paul Skinner of Massillon, Michael R. Skinner of Indiana and Joseph L. Skinner of Orrville; numerous grandchildren; brothers in law, Brian K. Settle of Dallas, TX. and Mark W. Settle of Orrville; and other numerous specials friends.

Services will be Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at East Chippewa Church of the Brethren in Orrville with Pastor Brad Kelley officiating. Burial will then follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman where military honors will be rendered.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services (12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.) at the church.
