Bonnie Irene Johnson, age 86, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 25th, 2018 at the Wayne County Care Center in Wooster following a period of declining health.

She was born on February 2, 1931 in Wooster to Walter William and Nellie (Allen) Croskey and has been an area resident for most of her life.

She married Bruce Michael Johnson who went home to be with the Lord, February 11, 2015.

She was a devoted homemaker and was a member of First Church Of God in Wooster.

Earlier during her life, she and her husband enjoyed going on cruises, square dancing and loved spending some time in Kissimmee, Florida.

She is survived by her son, Michael Allan (Sandra) Johnson of Wooster; a grandson, Luke Allan (Samantha) Johnson and great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Addy Johnson all of Millersburg; and a nephew, Wendall (Judy) Haven of Wooster; other nieces and nephews and her beloved canine companions, "Cricket" and "Rosie".

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.

Services will be Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home with Pastor Arnie Kaufman officiating.

Interment will follow at Wooster Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 6 - 8 p.m.
