Obituary for Barry W. Breneman

Barry W. Breneman, age 62, of Wooster, entered into rest on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster following a period of declining health.

He was born on January 8, 1957 in Wooster to Russell Eugene, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Bowlin) Breneman and has been an area resident for all of his life.

He started working for Halliburton Energy Services in Wooster for 10 years and then worked as an electrician with the Timken Co. in Wooster for 20 years before retiring in 2006.

He enjoyed watching dirt track racing and loved to follow the Triway football and basket ball teams throughout the years.

He was also a volunteer firefighter/paramedic with Wooster Twp. Fire Dept. for 10 years.

He is survived by a son, Brian (Heather) Breneman and a daughter, Kelli Kasner all of Wooster; his grandchildren, McKayla Stemple of Akron and Rider Breneman of North Lawrence, Oh.; a sister, Rebecca "Becky" (Richard) Taylor of Glenmont, Oh.; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Russell E. Breneman, Jr. and a sister, Christeen K. Hoover.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster.

It was his wishes for no service to follow the calling hours.

A private interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
